YAPS is excited to offer you a great opportunity to give to our organization by purchasing tickets to a great local event: the Hangar 24 Airfest & 7th Anniversary Celebration.

From now until April 24th, you can purchase a ticket to the event using our unique promotional link or code, and Hangar 24 Charities will donate $2 of every regular ticket or $25 of every VIP ticket to YAPS.

This family-friendly AirFest takes place at the Redlands Airport on Saturday, May 16th, and features a full afternoon and evening of world-class aerial performances, skydivers, live music, a huge variety of food from the best local food trucks, a family-friendly kid's zone, and of course, a wide selection of Hangar 24 craft beers from throughout their 7 years of brewing. The AirFest itself is a non-profit event, so every dollar you're spending will be going to a good cause.

There are two ways to give to YAPS with your AirFest ticket purchase, both of which can be passed along to your friends and family:

1) Use our unique charity link, and purchase one of the top two ticket options- "Charity Pre-Sale Fast Pass" or "Charity VIP Admission"

2) Here is that link: https://h24airfest.eventbrite.com/?discount=YAPS

OR

1) Go to www.hangar24airfest.com

2) Click on "Buy Tickets!" at the top of the page.

3) Click on "Enter Promotional Code" in red, right below the ticket options.

4) Enter our unique code, YAPS

5) "Charity Pre-Sale Fast Pass" and "Charity VIP Admission" ticket options will appear.

Be sure to check out everything AirFest has to offer on the event website, www.hangar24airfest.com, and be sure to add Kids's Tickets to your order if you plan on bringing the whole family- they're free for children 5 and under, and just $5 for children 6-12.

We're excited to be able to offer you this unique way to donate to our organization by attending such a great local event, from which 100% of the proceeds also go to local charities.

It is no secret that living in the rural areas of Yucaipa lend residents and their pets to continual interaction with the local wildlife.  As spring has sprung, so have our serpent friends.  The warmer weather brings out a very dangerous slithering foe, the rattlesnake.  The venom of the rattler can impose devastating if not deadly results to people and pets alike if bitten.

In an effort to decrease the risk Yucaipa Animal Placement Society, YAPS, has joined Enlighten Dogs Training in offering training for rattle snake avoidance techniques to dogs and their people.  Join Elicia & Chris Ashton of Enlighten Dogs and professional rattlesnake avoidance training company, Snakeworx, for outdoor interactive aversion session with the dogs to insure that both you and your pet are snake smart.  The training is scheduled for Friday, May 8th and cost is $75 per dog. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to YAPS. Appointments are available from 10am - 7:30pm. To register for the training please call YAPS (909) 790-1440.
