Brownie GirlScout Troop 284, comprised of girls from the Redlands, Yucaipa and Highland areas, collected many donations to help out their furry friends awaiting their forever home at Yucaipa Animal Placement Society! Each girl individually solicited businesses, neighbors and friends for gifts for the four-legged friends.

For their efforts the girls, pictured below at YAPS, were given a tour of the YAPS center complete with a little play time with the YAPS dogs and cats that will benefit from the donations. They were also given volunteer applications so they can continue to help their new found four-legged friends on a more regular basis. “We are so happy to have so many young people excited to do their part to help our furry friends!” stated Nicole Laffey, the Director of YAPS.
