Here at Y.A.P.S. we always need supplies to care for the cats and dogs.
Donation Wish List:
Items can be left at the gate when we are closed. During business hours stop in the office with your donation and we can give you a donation receipt.
Volunteer:
If you have toured our web site or our facility, you are already aware of the great work we do. Why not help us continue our efforts. With your help, we can continue our great programs. Below is an example of volunteer opportunities. For complete details, please click on the Volunteer Program tab under the Programs page on this website.
Adult Volunteers (16 years and up) - This program is designed for long term volunteers whose main objective is to help with the administrative, adoption, and animal care components of YAPS. This includes those looking to help in the office, with fundraisers, adoption events, kennel care and socializing animals. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 volunteer hours per month.
Junior Volunteers (ages 14 - 15 years) – This program is designed for long term volunteers, whose main objective is in animal care, facility duties or animal rescue protocol. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 volunteer hours per month. A parent or guardian is required to be with participants at all times.
Have-A-Heart Offsite Volunteer Program (10-13 years) -This program encourages young volunteers to give back to their community with tasks they can primarily do offsite. You are never too young to make a difference. Participation in this program does not require the Wags & Walk and Orientation commitment. A parent or guardian is required to be with participants at all times.
